A person searching for reality spends his entire life on it, but if he’s looking in the wrong place and using the wrong methods, he’s just paddling in vain. In the end, they're left with more confusion and a sense of inner emptiness.
What is it that the seeker of reality thinks? They believe life is a riddle, a game to be solved using intellect. The human mind and ego work this way, stealing one's time and energy with these unsolvable games. One puzzle leads to another, one question begets another question. They keep going in circles, like trying to catch a cat's tail.
The human mind loves complexity and convoluted paths. Instead of seeking the simple reality they crave, they distract themselves with puzzles. They think reality shouldn't be that easy and simple.
They rush from one place to another, seeking externally. All teachings, New Age methods, religions, personal development techniques, philosophy, etc., have emerged from humanity's sense of emptiness and desire to find truth.
Finding truth shouldn't be this easy because if we spend our time conforming to the superficial conditions presented to us (like going on a pilgrimage, climbing a mountain, visiting spiritual places, adhering to various teachings, rituals, etc.), perhaps we can attain truth.
Since the dawn of humanity, people have always searched, loving mysterious and incomprehensible things. And that's why they keep wandering in the labyrinth, getting farther from the so-called reality they seek, because they've been engaged in all the unnecessary tasks. Eventually, those who are tired of this game find one day that the door to truth opens. Because they are the ones knocking on the door. Because they are the ones having the true desire. They realize that all reality is actually within, not outside. When a person searches for the truth within themselves and brings it forth, they see that the kingdom of Heaven is within, that everything is already placed within us. The Creator’s place is in our hearts.
